About the Author: Christen Mattix is an artist and art educator living in Bellingham, WA. Christen received an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute, and a BFA from Western Washington University. Her work was featured in The Whatcom Museum, SAM Gallery, Smith Vallee Gallery, Clover: A Literary Rag, Shoreline City Art Zine, and Psalter & Lyre. Skeinis Christen’s first book.
